Analysis on the Significance of Foreign Literature Translation to Cross-Cultural Communication

Abstract:As a carrier of cultural communication, literary works play an important role for culture spreading. The creation, reading and translation of literary works have been regarded as major approaches to spread cultures. With the successful implementation of “The Belt and Road”, increasing exchanges between China and the world in new era ask for spreading domestic cultures and absorbing foreign cultures at the same time. As a result, it is necessary to strengthen the study of foreign literature translation, which is of greater importance, to provide supports for effective cross-cultural communication.
