3D printing and bioprinting is a multidisciplinary technique involving design, biomaterials, life science, and medicine. This emerging field is creating an enormous opportunity for the future of healthcare. Applications of 3D printing and bioprinting in medicine are expanding at an accelerated pace, demonstrating advanced solutions in biomedical and biotechnology industry. These include new design of implant, streamlined fabrication of personalized medical product, and development of biomimetic bioinks towards complex tissues and organs.

 

Beyond creation, 3D printing and bioprinting also impact the delivery of future healthcare solution by capitalizing on the digital nature of the technology. New regulatory paradigm and healthcare logistics will be formulated to meet the demand of 3D printed medical devices or organs.

As an open-access journal, all articles published in Journal of Environmental & Earth Sciences are accessible electronically from the journal website without the need for subscription fees or other forms of payment from the readers. An Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable to papers accepted after peer review.
