Writing a successful research paper is not easy. But if you know the key elements of a good paper, it will be much easier.
The most important thing in writing a research paper is that the author needs to express his point clearly.A successful research paper must accurately, concisely and comprehensively transfer knowledge to the reader.
Structure is also a key point in thesis writing. Different types of papers have different structures, but they should all be rigorous and logical. The conclusion of the study should be based on the theoretical basis of facts, and supported by data, with sufficient argumentation.
Authors need to understand the basic components of research papers. Title, author's profile, abstract, keywords, and references are the basic elements of the paper. The specific article content can be set out from the following aspects:
Introduction
This section provides context and situation analysis of current research topics. It should highlight the significance of the research conducted, in particular, in relation to current state of research in the field. A clear research objective should be conveyed within a single sentence.
Methodology/Methods
In this section, the process of collecting, organizing and analyzing data and demonstrating results should be clearly clarified. This allows readers to be able to replicate the study in the future. Authors should ensure that any references made to other research or experiments should be clearly cited.
Results
In this section, the results of experiments conducted should be detailed. The results should not be discussed at length in this section. Alternatively, Results and Discussion can also be combined to a single section.
Discussion
In this section, the results of the experiments conducted can be discussed in detail. Authors should discuss the direct and indirect implications of their findings, and also discuss if the results obtain reflect the current state of research in the field. Applications for the research should be discussed in this section. Suggestions for future research can also be discussed in this section.
Conclusion
This section offers closure for the paper. An effective conclusion will need to sum up the principal findings of the papers, and its implications for further research. It is important not to include anything in the conclusion that is not covered in the results and discussion sections.
References
This component cites all the references made in the paper to other research studies and sources of information. These references should be valid and up to date.
